My Journey
I trained as an engineer, but I have been consistently drawn to problems that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries. My early work at Earth2Orbit Analytix focused on applying satellite imagery and machine learning to agricultural systems, including developing tools to estimate crop acreage in complex, smallholder farming contexts. This experience fostered my interest in the potential of geospatial data—not just as a technical resource, but as a way to uncover patterns that are otherwise difficult to observe.

At HERE Technologies, I worked at the intersection of data science and engineering to design the quality frameworks and statistical validation scores that allowed diverse stakeholders to translate high-definition mapping data into dependable products. More recently at RTI, I developed geospatial indicator maps to screen for sites and communities that may be vulnerable to extreme events.
Across these experiences, I have developed a strong interest in interdisciplinary approaches to better understand how environmental change impacts communities, and how those insights can inform more equitable and effective decisions. I now aim to continue building on this work through TerraHealthEcon Consulting LLP, contributing to projects that advance sustainability and resilience.
